Evolution Gaming Partners with Grand Casino Baden to Enter Swiss Online Casino Space
Evolution Gaming, a prominent live casino provider announced that a deal has been struck with Grand Casino Baden, which allows them to enter the newly reorganized Swiss iGaming market.
The terms of the deal state that Evolution is to supply its full portfolio of Live Casino games to Grand Casino Baden, a land-based casino, which is soon launching their first digital operations. The casino will manage the JackPots.ch online gaming brand, powered by its platform partner, Gamanza.
We would be remiss if we didn’t mention that the JackPots.ch brand has been operating as a free-to-play casino for a while now and has gained a substantial number of customers. The customer base is estimated to be just a bit over 15,500. This means that the casino already has an advantage in this race to win over the European market.
The leading developer has much to offer, and players will be able to enjoy their live dealer games titles which include baccarat, blackjack and roulette. Players will be able to experience the supplier’s award-winning gameshow-styled game, Lightning Roulette. All the games included in its portfolio will be available on desktop and mobile devices.
A Perfect Fit:
James Stern, Chief Business Development Officer – America and Land-Based at Evolution, said that the company is delighted about going into business with one of Switzerland’s best land-based casinos and that its portfolio fits perfectly with the “House of Entertainment” which Grand Casino Baden actively promotes.
After deciding to partner with Evolution, Marcel Tobler, Chief Financial Officer for the land-based facility, said:
“This was an easy decision for us. Evolution has an excellent record in helping its licensees to launch world-class Live Casino services into regulated markets globally. At Grand Casino Baden we pride ourselves on providing an unrivalled range of offers and service to our players. Harnessing Evolution’s Live Casino will undoubtedly help us to consolidate and develop our position as one of Europe’s most highly regarded casinos.”
Newly Regulated Online Gambling:
Grand Casino Baden, Casino Davos, Grand Casino Luzern and Casino Pfaffikon are the four casinos to be given the green light to implement live online gaming, starting from 1st of July.
This was all made possible due to Switzerland’s new regulations – Geldspielsetz – This gambling act had a lot of support from the nation’s voters and was approved last year, going into effect on January 1, 2019.
The new regulations also allow foreign companies to be present in the Swiss gambling space through partnerships with 21 Swiss land-based gambling venues.
The four above-mentioned casinos will go live with online gambling in the beginning of July, and more casinos are sure to follow in the coming months.
All important provisions will take effect on 1st of July. Under such provisions, local internet service providers will be obliged to block the domains of all unauthorized international gambling websites.
